Greenwich Man Nabbed In Jail For Stealing Wallet Two Years Ago

A Greenwich man was nabbed by Greenwich Police at the Westchester County Jail on an outstanding warrant for ripping off a wallet out of a car.

Cesar Salazar-Duque, 30, was picked up at the Westchester County Jail, where he was being held on another charge, on a warrant for stealing a wallet in 2016 and using the credit cards inside, said Greenwich Police.

He was also wanted on several failure to appear warrants from other jurisdictions for charges ranging from being a fugitive from justice, petit larceny, immigration violation, possession of marijuana and possession of stolen property. 

He was given a promise to appear notice and is scheduled to appear in court on June 13.
